Item Description

A wonderful big composite Fluorite crystal that has one of the most alluring blue-green hues you'll see for the species. The piece is a large group in octahedral form, but comprises dozens if not hundreds of very sharp, lustrous, gemmy crystals that show a combination of cube and dodecahedral faces. It is partially coated by white milky Quartz and studded with little golden metallic Pyrite crystals. When backlit, the intense / saturated blue-green color shines through and looks wonderful in both sunlight and indoor lighting. The bottom of the specimen is actually recrystallized ("re-healed") making the piece a near "floater" were it not for a small point of attachment / contact on one side. It's very hard to convey the quality in photos as the piece was difficult to photograph, but it's really beautiful in person. Valued at $2,500 for quality, wonderful form and color.
