Item Description

An impressive showy cabinet specimen from the Xianghualing Mine featuring a group of large, RICH emerald green color, sharp, well-formed, gemmy octahedral crystals Fluorite measuring up to 7.0 cm on / with semi-spherical milky white Quartz aggregates. The reverse side of the specimen hosts a second generation of small silvery-purple colored cubes of Fluorite for a great touch. While the Fluorites are octahedral in habit, there are actually hundreds of tiny faces all over the surface of the crystals, some of which are cubic or dodecahedral in habit. I honestly can't see any damage of note on any of the major crystals, though there is a contact on the right side of the piece where it was removed from the pocket wall. If you collect Fluorites or minerals of China, don't miss out on this attractive piece from this prodigious specimen producing locality. Valued at $4,000-$5,000 retail.
