Item Description

A very attractive specimen of Fluorite from the famous De'an Mine featuring an isolated 3-dimensional crystal group of very sharp, highly lustrous, "stacked" cubic crystals forming an octahedral-esque shape perched on a crystallized white Quartz matrix. The Fluorite group measures 3.8 cm across, and might appear to be purple in color, but when it's backlit, it shows a beautiful green "core"! It's actually nearly WATER CLEAR in clarity as well, but you need to get the light in there to really appreciate it. The contrast of Fluorite against the Quartz matrix is very pleasning. Fine quality, very show and a great representation of this classic material from southeastern China.
