Item Description

Attention Fluorite collectors! If you are a completionist, and have to have a good Fluorite specimen from every possible locality, don't pass this one up. I've only seen a select few Fluorite specimens from Omehane over the years, and this piece is certainly one of the better examples. It features a few robust, soft blue to green color (depending upon the light in which the piece is viewed), sharp, gemmy stacked / modified cubes of Fluorite measuring up to 3.3 cm on edge sitting on a minor amount of Quartz matrix. The main Fluorite is undamaged on the display side, but the piece is contacted on the back / underside where it was removed from the pocket wall. If you look closely, you can see small dark purple highlights along the edges of the Fluorite crystals for a nice touch. A really eye-catching specimen of this notably obscure material from Namibia. Don't miss out. Priced in the inventory at $700 From the Collection of Shields Flynn.
