Item Description

An attractive specimen from a discovery in 2017. We acquired a small parcel of these interesting and eye-catching Fluorite specimens from a good friend in Pakistan who confirmed that they were from the locality at Koh-i-Maran. A few other dealers in Pakistan have confirmed the locale for reference. These Fluorite are truly unique as not only have they formed outside of the typical pegmatites and metamorphic deposits in the area, but they feature rare colors and combinations of color like we've never seen. This miniature display specimen hosts sharp, attractive gemmy cubic crystals of Fluorite free of matrix. The main color is essentially white / colorless but there are spots of a rarely seen light "smoky" colored zoning on the outer portions that give the piece a truly distinctive look. It's well-crystallized on the front side, and somewhat partially re-crystallized on the back. If you're a Fluorite collector, you need to add one of these to your collection as very few seem to be available on the market now, and the odd mix of colors makes it incredibly desirable for any fan of the species.
