Item Description

Specimens from this contemporary locality will go down as some of the most iconic and finest quality minerals from any Chinese discovery. Arguably, some of the best examples of several species from any Chinese locality have been found at this mine, and in some instances they are the best in the world. Here we have a wonderful association specimen featuring rich purple colored stacked cubic crystal groups of Fluorite which are associated with stark black bladed crystals of Ferberite. Additionally you can see brilliant silvery-white crystals of Arsenopyrite along with gemmy prismatic Quartz crystals dotted throughout the specimen. The base of the piece is a layer of silvery-tan colored Muscovite. The piece is in excellent condition overall with the only real damage around the periphery where the piece was removed from the pocket wall. The largest Fluorite measures 1.3 cm on edge and the largest Ferberite measures 2.4 cm. A fantastic combo and simply eye-catching in terms of color, form and arrangement. Priced at $2,200 in the inventory. These specimens are very hard to find on the market now, so don't miss out on this one, as they are few and far between.
