Item Description

Beautiful, rich golden-yellow color on this impressive large, lustrous, water-clear gem citrine crystal from an unknown pegmatite in Minas Gerais. All of the six interesting offset termination faces and four of the six prism faces have been polished, dramatically improving the clarity of the crystal. The remaining two prism faces are frosted with interesting stepped-growth. This beauty has minimal interior crazing. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only trivial prism edge wear and a tiny bruise to the crystal tip. Mass is 264 grams. Ex Rock Currier Collection No. 4741.
