Item Description

A beautiful, GEM, yellow-green orthoclase crystal from the small finds at Itrongay, Madagascar. The finest gem crystals of orthoclase are produced in this region of Madagascar. This is a SUPERB example, being a PRISTINE, complete all-around, doubly terminated floater. The crystal is 100% cuttable gem quality throughout. VERY highly representative of the species and locale and RARE in this quality. 47.09 carats or over 9 grams. Ex Carl Davis Collection.
