Item Description

Beautiful gem, glassy mint-green fluorite cubes have striking cubic phantoms and stunning, contrasting off-white "garden features" on the matrix. These fabulous cubes, dominated by the impressive pristine, 2.7 x 2.7 x 2.5 cm crystal, rest on an earlier generation of smaller, less richly colored, but similar fluorite cubes. The two fluorite generations dramatically cover three sides of the sculptural mounded small cabinet matrix. One large cube is cleaved and a bit of scattered bruising is noted, but are certainly only modest detractions. Ex Chet Lemanski Collection and acquired in 2001. This remains a classic, sculptural and beautiful example of this fluorite style from the famous Xianghualing Mine, of the older style from the late 1990s. Rich purple fluorescence.
