Rutile is a mineral often seen as an inclusion in other gem materials but rarely large or transparent enough to be faceted itself. This stone is that very rare exception. An impressive example of this hard to source species for faceted stones. Medium-dark red cushion cut. Metallic-looking but transparent! Highly choice!
