Item Description
Rarely does one encounter a specimen from this lesser known mine in Northern California. Matrix specimens are even less common in my experience. This attractive thumbnail sized piece features brilliant, bright golden color, metallic, crystals of Gold sitting atop white Quartz matrix. Up close you can see the brilliant, metallic, leaf-like flowing quality of the Gold, but there are also small crystalline faces as well. Good quality and certainly a worthwhile pick up for a native elements collector, a California minerals collector or somebody who collects thumbnails.
