Item Description

This piece came to us labeled as coming from "Purple Cow Ledge" in Quartzsite, Arizona. I've never heard of the locale, and I can't find a listing for it online. I trust the source for the info, so I believe it's legit, especially since I've seen similar specimens from the Veta Grande Mine near Quartzsite. Brilliant metallic, bladed crystals of Hematite measuring up to 1.7 cm are sitting beautifully on gemmy/translucent colorless Quartz crystals with a bit of reddish-brown iron staining. Very little damage and rather aesthetic for what it is.
