Item Description

A pristine, classic, and important pseudomorph of Kaolinite after Orthoclase from the St. Austell District of Cornwall. A very sharp, fully terminated, Carlsbad-twinned Orthoclase crystal has been mostly pseudomorphed by Kaolinite and retains every detail of the original Orthoclase: crystal faces, edge, and twin details! An exceptional specimen from one of England's most famous localities. Comes with a John Albanese Fine Minerals label. Superb and large, valued $750-1000
