Item Description

Wow! An impressive and sculptural large sawed and polished two-sided slab of copper glacial drift "float" from famed Copper Country. Glaciation ripped this piece from the outcrop and transported it a short distance in Ontonagon County. The striking patterned quartz and bit of green malachite adds much pizzazz and color. The side with the malachite bleb has been coated with krylon or an epoxy to add to the lustre. 1386 grams or just over 3 pounds mass. Classic large float copper from the Keweenaw.
