Item Description
The Lazulites from around Werfen are well-known on the European market, though very little has been available for years. This small cabinet display specimen hosts several "chunky" crystals of beautiful azure blue Lazulite, some of which are contacted, while others show distorted faces sitting on a mix of off-white Quartz and brown Breunnerite (iron-rich Magnesite) matrix. The largest crystal cluster on the specimen measures 3.2 cm across. A cool example of this attractive and rarely seen material.
