Item Description

An exceptional and rare elongated pyrite pseudomorph from Utah. Lustrous, mottled medium-brown limonite has replaced this striking pyrite cube. The notch in one side adds dramatic character. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only a modest bit of contacting/bruising on three lower corners. We have never seen a single, sharp very elongated pseudo of this style from the well-known Pelican Point area. A classic and outstanding Pelican Point pseudomorph from the Dr. Barratt Phillips Collection.
