Item Description
This is a very heavy, shiny, 3-dimensional example fo the old classic material for mimetite from Mexico, from the 1980s and before. Heavy at 246 grams, heavier than it looks. This piece has unusually large ball-like aggregates to 3.5 cm across, super luster better than most, and a nice shape. Matt McGill lead minerals collection, formerly ex. Rock Currier (his number on bottom) and the late great legendary collector and dealer Willard Perkins; RHC 3688, http://www.mindat.org/7MJ-FNC. This is a crazy good example of this material with excellent proportions, and provenance ! valued $1250-1500 and comes with a custom engraved lucite base
