Item Description

Morganite is a signature species from this well-known San Diego County mine and this is a classic, very showy and aesthetic combination miniature. The pretty pastel-pink gemmy and lustrous, tabular, hexagonal crystal is very gemmy with water-clear and satin lustre faces and has interesting compound crystallization form. Pearlescent green lepidolite with minor albite are fine contrasts and accessories. This excellent combination is complete all-around and pristine. This fine morganite was recovered while Roland Reed owned the mine between 1980 and the late 1990s.
