Item Description
Pristine, sharp, well-defined miniature pseudomorph of muscovite after a doubly terminated, trigonal, floater tourmaline crystal with pyramidal terminations from an unknown pegmatite on the East slope of Noyes Mountain (not the Noyes Mountain Quarry on the West slope). Such uncommon pseudos are known from the pegmatites on the mountain and this is an excellent example from the Bill and Anne Cook Collection. Oxford County is famous for many gem producing granite pegmatites.
