Item Description

Lustrous reniform native arsenic crowns this showy and rich layered small cabinet specimen of massive arsenic and calcite. Mineral specimens of any species are uncommon from this obscure older Canadian locale, with rich arsenic specimens, such as this being the most common. Ex Kay Robertson Collection # 1414 and acquired in a trade in the 1950s. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien-Welt" November-December 2017). Seldom on the market. Hefty arsenic ore at 108 grams mass.
