Item Description
What an interesting specimen of Silver from Germany! This slightly undulating and uniquely shaped gray-silver "silver foil" varies from 1 mm to 1 cm in thickness and has linear, parallel markings on one side that resemble "slickensides" from being formed as part of "fault gouge" possibly! That would mean that movement occured along a fault and the Silver was part of the fault fracture filling! The piece has more of a satin sheen on one side and a more silvery on the other. A distinct piece of silver from Germany, or anywhere for that matter!
