Item Description

Rich and rare large polished silver ore slab from this extinct mine in the famed Cobalt area. Bright stringers and blebs of native Silver are richly and dramatically visible within the broad massive Acanthite vein in greenstone matrix. The back side hosts an area of light pink Erythrite, as a bonus. Mineral specimens are very uncommon from the Christopher Mine. Hefty and rich silver ore at 710 grams or 1.6 pounds mass. Valued at $450 by the former dealer.
