Item Description
A VERY hard to find specimen of Zinc-bearing Olivenite (not to be confused with Zincolivenite, which is a separate species) from the Veta Negra Mine in Chile. This might be the first piece of this material that we've had to offer in the auctions. This piece features gemmy olive-green monoclinic micro crystals of this rare mineral measuring up to approx 1 mm on host rock matrix. This specimen comes with a label from the Aurora Mineral Corporation of which Terry Szenics was a partner along with Harvey Siegel. If you collect rare species don't less this one pass you by.
