Item Description

This vuggy, sculptural piece of Germanite ore is richly lined with sparkly Olivenite crystals and topped with some small sparkling botryoids of Malachite on this fine specimen from the Tsumeb Mine. Dark green-black, sparkling crystals of Olivenite richly line every open area in this piece of hefty Germanite ore, and the Malachite is a nice accent. The 1 to 2 mm, scintillating Olivenite crystals completely line the interior areas of the piece and the less than 1 mm, rich green Malachite botryoids are attractively scattered on the Olivenite. This is an interesting and weighty combination piece from Tsumeb that is in excellent condition. Shields Flynn Tsumeb collection
