Plumbogummite (nice color)

Item Description

The Yangshuo Mine in China has produced some amazing Plumbogummite specimens with some of the best form and the richest color seen for the species from any world locality. This small cabinet piece is filled with botryoidal, soft blue colored Plumbogummite on oxidized matrix. The color ranges from a soft blue to a stronger blue on the back of the piece due to a partial coating of a secondary oxidation in areas. The reverse side of the piece shows that the Plumbogummites are partially overgrowing bright yellow-green colored Pyromorphite. The largest "ball" measures 6 mm across. Good luster and form with very minimal damage. Priced at $800.
