Item Description
Some of the best Prehnite specimens to reach the market in recent years are those that have been found in Mali. This combination specimen features translucent, lime-green, botryoidal Prehnite aggregates intergrown with lustrous, deep green-black Epidote crystals. The largest Prehnite sphere reaches a full 2.4 cm across. Many large specimens of these combinations came out several decades ago, but not many were in this size class nor did they display as well, from either side. This is a quality and nicely-balanced miniature of Prehnite on Epidote from Kayes Region of Mali. Formerly in the extensive collection of W & A Cook.
