Item Description

A lovely combination specimen featuring semi-"clamshell"-shaped groups of beautiful gemmy "water green" colored Prehnite associated with white scalenohedral Calcite free of matrix. The display side is damage free, but the piece is contacted around the periphery where it was removed from the pocket wall. The largest Prehnite group measures 2.4 cm across. Excellent color and translucency when backlit. Valued at $500. From the Collection of Shields Flynn.
