Item Description

China never fails when it comes to producing exciting, unusual and unique material. Here we have one of the incredibly interesting Pyrite concretions that came out around. 10 years ago. They are some of the most unique specimens that I have seen from any locality. The small, sparkling, sharp, modified, metallic Pyrite crystals have formed in amazingly concentric "rings" or "bands" on a "sphere" of shale. The specimen resembles some kind of strange planet, and almost has an organic look to it. A very cool "floater" specimen and certainly unusual. I value this one now around $1,000 - $1,200.
