Item Description

The big big brother of the earlier piece, this very fine TYPE LOCALITY Pyro is from the historic Heilige Dreifaltigkeit Mine in the Erzgebirge. The forest-green, 6 mm hexagonal crystals are beautifully formed and they have great luster, which greatly enhances the richness of the color. The contrast of the Pyromorphite crystals against the rust-colored coating on the matrix is attractive and highly aesthetic. #12,385 in Kay's collection, she obtained this classic in 1984. valued $1000
