Item Description
Lustrous bronze-brown, stepped-growth, pseudo-hexagonal, tightly intergrown pyrrhotite crystals form a striking and aesthetic two-sided fan-shaped rib from this famous mine at Dalnegorsk. Complete all-around and essentially pristine. All of the numerous crystal edges are pristine. The small quartz points at the base on both sides are a nice and typical accessory of Nikolaevskiy Mine specimens. A bit of contacting on one side has very little actual damage. Classic and very sculptural Dalnegork pyrrhotite. The mines are noted for world-class sulfide specimens and this is a fine example. valued $750
