Item Description

A delightfully glassy water-clear Quartz 'laser wand' from the famous Diamantina area, with a single prismatic 16.2 cm long terminated crystal. The clarity and luster is superb. The main crystal is in good condition with only a single small chip on the termination point and one chip on an edge halfway up the crystal. The base is accented by small terminated Quartz crystals with the longest at 2.5 cm. It is noted that there is a broken tip on one of the small crystals. From the collection of Kurt Hefendehl (#5 B), a well known German collector. His extensive worldwide collection reached over 6000 pieces. This simple yet elegant Quartz crystal was number 5 of over 200 pieces catalogued from Brazil. Definitely much older material.
