A true gem in every sense, this is a floating , complete all around cluster of sharp and gemmy quartz crystals with the crazy transparency and sparkling luster that gave them their nickname, Herkimer Diamonds, when found in the 1800s. This is modern era material, probably from the 1980s onward, and it is just a particularly fine and perfect miniature. It has balance, size, and the extra bonus of some rainbow effects when lit a certain way with the right light at the right angle (sunlight or halogen does it best). Like many others in this collection, it is a well chosen, carefully chosen competitive miniature in its size class. No repairs!
