A showy cluster of lustrous Amethyst crystals from the famous Kingston District of California. The crystals average over 1 cm in length and have a nice medium-purple color. Some of the crystals even have some zoning. The overall condition is very good, with only minor edgewear. Amethyst of this quality is uncommon from this locality! Many were collected by the great field collector John Seibel, nearly 20 years ago , and we do not see them come around again, so often. I assume but cannot prove this is one of those pieces.
