Item Description
An old classic, rarely seen on the market today, these Korean amethysts are true antiques, only coming out of collections assembled pre 1950s! Not only is this colorful, but it is a scepter, which was the most desired classic style for the location. Perched aesthetically on a matrix of light smoky quartz crystals is a sceptered, intensely color zoned amethyst crystal with three distinct terminations. The amethyst measures 3.5 cm across, and exhibits good luster and translucence along with a rich color. Very minor bruising on the tips of the terminations is of little consequence to it as a display specimen, and for this old material it actually is in quite surprisingly good condition. valued $500
