Item Description

Roselite has one of the most distinctive and alluring colors in the mineral world. It's color is comparable to Chromian Clinochlore ("Kammererite") or Erythrite, but still has a singular hue all its own. The finest examples of the species are those from the Aghbar Mine in Morocco. This small cabinet display specimen is loaded with superb quality, very sharp, highly lustrous, rather GEMMY, monoclinic crystals with that classic deep fuchsia color measuring up to 4 mm sitting on pearly white Dolomite matrix. Some small radial groups of what is likely to be Cobaltlotharmeyerite can be seen scattered on the display side of the specimen as well. Nearly every crystal of Roselite on front / display side of the specimen is pristine, and they are genuinely fun to view up close, as the quality is top notch. Truly fine quality all around. A must have for any fan of minerals or Morocco or for anybody who has been looking for a wonderful piece of Roselite for a great price. Priced in our inventory at $3,500.
