Item Description

This is a very unusual, composite "column" of rich, raspberry red Burmese Ruby crystals whose form and growth may have been controlled by the matrix in which they grew, so it looks organic and biological! They appear to stacked, crudely formed crystals that that have intense color and good translucency, however, it's very difficult to determine where one crystal ends and another begins! The color and shape are captivating and it gets better - in long wave UV light that reveals a jaw-dropping, intense hot-red-pink fluorescence. This is a very unusual ruby specimen , and quite dramatic for the size overall. Lastly, it has that famous "Burma shine" to the luster, just a natural waxy luster that is characteristic only of Burmese rubies.
