Some of you might have seen this well known material on the market recently. This stone is from a new find of Sapphires from the Umba Valley in Tanzania, where some of the most vivid and colorful Sapphire gems are found. This stone has a reddish-pink hue. This gem has some slight inclusions, and would make a great addition to a Sapphire suite, or could be set into jewelry. The cut on this gem is an "Oval" cut.
