Item Description
An exceptionally rich example of Scholzite, a rare, hydrated Ca-Zn Phosphate. This is a very impressive, small cabinet specimen, with striking sprays of gemmy, acicular crystals to about 4 mm. These radial sprays cover virtually the entire presentation side, and they are in remarkably good condition. This well-represents the finest examples of the species that come from this well-known Australian zinc and phosphorus mine, which was worked for a few years in the 1970s by Chris Johnson.
