Item Description
Intergrown pretty baby-blue botryoids of soft to the touch shattuckite form an exotic, sculptural miniature specimen from a limited 2014 find at this less well-known extinct open pit copper mine, worked occasionally for specimens. The back shows, that this is a solid crust of shattuckite, a rare Cu-silicate. The artistic form of this piece is remarkable and is certainly one of the finer examples in the small lot we recently received. Valued at $400 by the former dealer and worth it.
