Shattuckite with Quartz and Malachite

Absolutely stunning 'geode' composed of a complete crust of beautiful blue Shattuckite, .4 cm thick all the way around, accented by Malachite and Quartz. The opening is 4 x 2 cm, and 5 cm deep. The vivid blue on the outside is contrasted to the sparkling stark white inside, as the thin quartz layer has covered shattuckite inside the vug. It sparkles like sugar! The pictures are not bad, but the 'presence' of this piece has to be seen in person to be believed. To my mind one of the most aesthetic Shattuckite specimens I have come across.
