Item Description

Beautifully formed and highly attractive, this 'question mark' wire of pure Silver is from the famous locality of Dzhezkazgan, Kazakhstan. This classic Silver has a generous coating of black Acanthite which adds mineral and visual interest, and there numerous spots that allows you to appreciate the excellent patina of the Silver below. This miniature has an outstanding aesthetic, and is really presentable from either side. A very fine specimen in every way, from the early 1990s finds here. At one time, these were available for a few years in Tucson, when the Russians came over. It has been a long time since I have seen such a nice miniature for sale from this locality.
