Item Description
What a great thumbnail macle twinned Spinel crystal from Burma! It is gemmy to translucent with a rich pink color and excellent luster. This Spinel represents a textbook macle twin with its relatively flat form, triangular shape and mirror-twin line running around the periphery of the crystal. Holding it up one can see that it's mostly gemmy with some internal fractures and a couple of cloudy areas, yet a great example for the species and its fluorescent too! It has a mass of 2.17 grams.
