Item Description
A superb and aesthetic CABINET stibnite spray from recent finds at the famous Wuling Mine of China. The stibnite blades have splendent, metallic-gray luster, are beautifully and sharply striated, and both of the two, large crystals have nice, tapered terminations. A highlight of this excellent specimen is the strangely curved, second largest blade. Tectonic forces during crystal growth sometines cause stibnite crystals to bend. Why some and not others? Who knows? This outstanding piece is in excellent condition, with only trivial edgewear on the two largest crystals and a couple of inconsequential broken smaller crystals. Valued $950-1250
