Stibnite (two generations)

Beautiful and delicate, this Stibnite from China has two distinct generations of crystals that combines long, slender crystals with tiny, hair-like needles. The metallic luster and the crystal forms are both very good, and the larger crystals emerge almost triumphantly from this nest of tinier crystals. A unique style even among the many locations in China for stibnite, these multiple-generation Stibnites have an inherent beauty, and the distinct contrast in size adds even more to the excellent aesthetics. MUCH better in person, as the Stibnite is more mirror-like than the photos show. See the video! This is for old finds, of probably 2005 or so. Valued $2000-2500.
