Item Description

A RARE, impressive and sculptural 360-degree combination from this famous mine, the world's largest antimony deposit. Dramatically intersecting crossed, striated stibnite blades are richly and strikingly covered with sharp sulfur crystals. A single RARE, 6 mm, very sharp, doubly terminated orthorhombic valentinite crystal with chisel terminations near the top is a super accessory. Dipyramidal orthorhombic valentinite (tin oxide) crystals of this sharpness are RARE from here. The crusts on the Stibnites are Cervantite, another tin oxide. All four ends of the stibnites were attachments, which have very minimal impact to the overall outstanding quality of this combination. Crystallized valentinite, sulfur and stibnite combinations are VERY RARE from Xikuangshan and this is an exceptional example.
