Item Description

VERY uncommon on the market, a Sicilian calcite, and a very good one at that! Sharp, glassy, phantomed scalenohedrons are included with bright yellow sulfur. This is a rare combination from the historic mines of Agrigento Province. Cleaved terminations are noted, but in the overall context of this rare combination specimen. Ex Howard Belsky Collection.
