Item Description
A very rarely seen specimen from Brumado featuring the rare strontium aluminum phosphate Svanbergite on Magnesite. Upon close inspection you can see several small, pale tan colored, trigonal (pseudocubic) crystals that measure approximately 1 mm are perched atop gemmy, white/colorless, rhombic Magnesite matrix. The largest Magnesite crystal measure 1.9 cm on edge. You don't see many specimens of Svanbergite on the market from any locality, and the old pieces from Brumado are rarely offered for sale these days.
