Item Description

Quartz is a RARE accessory species from this well-known mine, noted for excellent enargite, orpiment, pyrite and hutchinsonite specimens. Sharp lustrous metallic tetrahedrite tetrahedrons, to 2.4 cm, cover the sphalerite and galena matrix and are nicely accented by a classy halo of glassy quartz points, to 2.0 cm. Rare, showy and excellent combination material from the Paul Jung Collection. The Ullmann labeld has a September, 1983 date on the back.
