Item Description
Here we have a fine quality Tourmaline crystal from the famous Santa Rosa Mine featuring deep blue Indicolite and green Verdelite hues. When backlit you can see the crystal is very gemmy, but due to the dark nature of the piece, the color and clarity need a decent light to come through. The wonderful glistening luster is striking, and the piece has a fantastic pyramidal termination. No major damage and it's truly a fine quality example of what are often referred to as "gem pencils" due to their thin prismatic habit. From the collection of Brian Kosnar.
