Item Description

A wonderful full-sized miniature specimen from the most famous Tourmaline locality in Pakistan. A pair of gorgeous, sharp, lustrous, polychrome DOUBLY-TERMINATED Tourmaline crystals which feature rich bluish-green and slightly colorless "Achroite" terminations transition into and a very dark (almost black) green hue in the center of the prisms are associated with gemmy, colorless hexagonal prismatic Quartz crystals to create a showy and three-dimensional display specimen. The piece is nearly a complete "floater" as it is crystallized on all sides, but a few tiny points of attachment prevent it from being a true "floater". A few smaller secondary Tourmaline crystals along with white bladed Albite ("Cleavelandite") make for a really great touch. No major damage anywhere, and it's a far cry from your typical Stak Nala specimen as we rarely see pieces with such great form and fine doubly-terminated crystals. Valued at $1,500 retail.
